Why Should You Support The Swimming Pool Lottery?

The Swimming Pool Lottery has been running since 2017 and has done a considerable amount of good in supporting the provision and maintenance of the local swimming pool for the School and Community. The pool, itself, is nearly 60 years old and has been an important part of village life since the community and school built it in 1967.

The Lottery represents the community supporting an important asset. The money raised ensures that school-children and residents can enjoy the pool from May to September. You should support the pool or continue to support the pool lottery for the following reasons:

1. Local school children can learn to swim in a safe and controlled environment.
2. Learning to swim saves lives.
3. There are health benefits to swimming that few other exercise regimes can match.
4. The community can access the pool through the Swimming Club.
5. The lottery is the main source of income to ensure that the pool stays open.
6. The lottery is also used to create a fund for future repairs to the pool and environment.
7. The Friends of Albrighton Swimming Pool Lottery is also an Independent Charity dedicated to its charitable objects of providing and maintaining the swimming pool.

The Lottery also gives its members the chance to win 12 prizes a month or 144 prizes a year!
